Does anyone know if splitting a day at Magic Kingdom in May in order to see the late shows with my pre-schooler and infant is going to be an issue, I was planning on returning to my room for naps and then going back after dinner for the shows at night.

I think your plan is great.

There are a few times during the year that there might be a problem with leaving the park and getting back in. During the week after Christmas and July 4th week, if you leave the park you might not be able to get back in because of crowd capacity issues. At all other times of the year, it makes perfect sense to take a mid-day break. Even most adults have a much better vacation if they leave the park after lunch to nap or swim, returning for dinner or an evening show.

    Have a wonderful visit!
