    Does anyone know if it is possible to do the resort switch (have WDW staff transfer our luggage basically is what we are most interested in) from Art of Animation to a DVC resort? I don't know if DVC would mess up the plan.

    Hi Maura!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are absolutely going to adore Disney's Art of Animation Resort! I truly think it's the best place to stay to really immerse yourself in all things Disney!

    As long as you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, regardless of whether or not it is a Disney Vacation Club property, you will be able to have your bags transferred. When you check out of Disney's Art of Animation Resort, just let Bell Services know that you will be transferring to another hotel on property. They will handle getting everything moved over for you while you are out making memories! In my experience it can take a couple hours for bags to be relocated, but they usually arrive mid afternoon. I just wanted to give you the heads up to make sure you take everything with you that you'll need for the day while your bags are not in your possession.
