    Does anyone know if the Poly volcano pool slide is in the dark or if you can see light? My son hates the dark and will only ride the slide if you can see some light. Thanks!

    Hi Karen,

    I had to turn to make waterslide/pool experts on this one...my three boys. I have been told that the Polynesian Volcano slide is mostly enclosed and the majority of it is dark. While it is not a very long slide and is slightly open and brighter near the bottom, the beginning of the slide is on the dark side and it is pretty fast. If you search on YouTube under Polynesian WaterSLide, there are a few home videos from inside the slide. Hopefully you can view it in advance with your son and see how comfortable he feels.

    Hope he is able to give it a splash!
