Aloha, Erica!
There's no better place to hang loose with Stitch (as known as Experiment 626), than at
'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast. Of course, Lilo and Stitch deserve top billing, but their pals Mickey and Pluto join them in their Hawaiian garb. Breakfast is "All You Care to Enjoy," and servers will arrive at your table with steaming skillets heaped with Hua Paka, Uala Kahiki, and Pua'a (that's eggs, potatoes, and pork sausage to us non-island folks). Although there's no Hawaiian translation for Mickey waffles, there's plenty of those to go around, and for weary adults, there is heavenly Kona coffee served in a French Press Pot.
Speaking of adults, there are also some tropical libations available for an extra cost. My Mom's Panel friend,
Robyn, indulged in a Lapu Lapu for her birthday breakfast recently. From what I've heard, however, the drink menu is somewhat limited at breakfast to a few drinks including Mimosas, Bloody Marys, the Polynesian Red Eye, and the Warped Hula Hoop (and also the aforementioned Lapu Lapu). It's always possible that you'll be able to order the Backscratcher with your meal, but since I didn't see it listed on the menu, you'll have to ask your server.
I understand why you're
itching to order that Backscratcher (which comes with its own handy bamboo backscratcher, in case you're wondering)! I had one at the
Tambu Lounge recently, and it was mighty tasty. Depending on your schedule, I'd recommend returning to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in the evening for a beverage and some famous 'Ohana Bread Pudding, which is now also served in the lounge. This would be the perfect nightcap to the perfect day- and don't forget to top it off by watching
Happily Ever After from the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon!
Have a great trip, Erica, and give that adorable blue alien a squeeze for me!
