anyone know if you need any special passes or know what events are going on Christmas day 2014? what about the parade with special guests?

    Hi Mindy,

Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resorts is super magical! The decorations, especially at the resorts, are a true treat.

You will only need regular park admission on Christmas Day to enter the parks. If you are looking to be at Magic Kingdom, you will need to be at the park as close to opening as possible as it has been known to fill to capacity. Additional guests will not be admitted until other guests have left for the day for safety reasons.

As for the Christmas Day parade that is shown on television, this is taped at the beginning of the month. You will not see any special guests in the park performing Christmas Day.

For a list of all the Christmas activities, follow the Disney Parks Blog.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
