Does anyone know the difference in cost for the Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan?? We are going to WDW in March and I have a family of 4 (two 4 yr olds)..Is the Deluxe Dining plan worth the extra money?

    Hi Juli,

The current price of the regular Disney Dining Plan is about $39.99 per adult and $10.99 per child (3-9). This gives you 1 quick service, 1 table service and 1 snack per nights stay. The Deluxe Dining Plan currently costs $71.99 per adult and $20.99 per child (3-9) per night. This gives you 3 meals (either quick service or table service) and 2 snacks per nights stay plus 1 refillable mug. Prices are subject to change.

As you can see the deluxe plan is quite a lot more money than the regular plan but if your family likes to eat often, especially at signature restaurants, then it can be worth it. Personally though my family finds the regular plan a lot of food so we would never buy the deluxe plan.

What I suggest you do is make a rough plan of which restaurants you think you'd like to dine at. You can see a full list including their menus on the dining pages at www.allears.net Once you've done that estimate what you think you'd spend each day, make sure to include all meals and any desserts and drinks. This should give you a rough idea if the plan is for you or not. Another thing to consider with the deluxe plan is if your family would be happy to spend so much time away from the parks eating.

I'm sorry I can't tell you a definite yes or no as the answer is different for every family, but I hope you can use my suggestions to help you with your decision,
