Would anyone happen to know how many days before arrival a hotel will accept a package on a guest’s behalf? I’ll be staying at the Riviera, so any advice or experiences would be really appreciated. I am aware there is a $6 convenience fee etc.

    Hiya, Thomas!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner, and as my friend Princess Tiana would say, "you're almost there!" I bet the excitement is really starting to kick in now that your trip is so close.

And to make it even better, you’ll be staying at my very favorite Disney Resort, Riviera! I absolutely love it there. It has such a beautiful, relaxed feel with plenty of Disney magic mixed in.

One of my favorite things to do is grab a latte from Le Petit Café in the morning and take a stroll around the grounds before heading out for the day. It’s such a peaceful way to start the morning, especially while taking in all of the gorgeous murals inspired by beloved Disney stories. Honestly, I could wander around Riviera for quite a while just soaking it all in. It’s such a wonderful place to come back to after a fun day in the parks.

You’re welcome to ship packages to your Disney Resort ahead of your arrival. Typically, the Front Desk can hold packages for up to 7 days before your check-in date.

When sending your package, be sure to use your resort’s mailing address and include the word “Guest” along with your name and arrival date on the label. That will help Cast Members make sure it’s ready and waiting for you when you arrive.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will still be in full bloom during your visit, and I really hope you’ll have the chance to enjoy it before the festival wraps up on June 1st. It’s one of my favorite times to visit EPCOT, with the beautiful character topiaries, colorful gardens, special food booths, and so much extra entertainment throughout the park.

Thomas, I hope you have the most MAGICAL trip! Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
