Has anyone had the character breakfast at May Cape Cafe? We are have that character meal the morning that we are leaving WDW. I can't wait for our trip. We are going this weekend.

I've dined at the Cape May character breakfast close to two dozen times. (We often stay at the Beach Club, so this is very convenient for us -- we ate there three times on our last trip alone.) I think a character meal is a great way to end a vacation, particularly if you only have a little bit of time before you have to leave for the airport. It gives you a little "happy ending" to your trip.

The Cape May breakfast is one of the calmest and most relaxing of the character dining experiences. The restaurant itself is quite small and there is less of the parading and napkin-waving that you might find at some of the other character meals. I find this a very pleasant way to ease into the day. The characters here are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. There is lots of good quality character interaction. At most character meals, the characters make their way to each table about once an hour. In my experience we've seen them a bit more than this at the Cape May. So that Minnie, for example, will be at the table twice during this meal instead of once at, say, Chef Mickey's. This is not guaranteed, of course, but it has been my experience.

The food at Cape May is quite good. There is standard breakfast fare here, eggs and bacon, etc. Plus there is a nice yogurt and topping bar and one of the nicest selections of fresh fruit I've seen at Disney.

I hope this helps and I hope you have a fabulous trip!
