Is anyone aware of when Disney will be decorating for Easter 2020?

    Hoppy Almost Spring Jennifer!

Second only to Christmas, Easter is my favorite holiday, and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate than at Walt Disney World Resort! What is not to love about Spring and renewal with a few candy eggs thrown in?

Mickey and the Gang do a fantastic job recruiting Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny to help decorate for the Spring holidays. But, since magic is involved, they usually don’t let us know exactly when the transformation happens! Last year, we were visiting the ‘World for my daughter’s birthday in November. Giant smiling pumpkins wished us goodnight, and the next morning, we awoke to a gingerbread house under construction in our hotel lobby. The pixie-dusted change was that quick!

Your best bet is for late February/early March. I like to watch patterns, and it seems that every year, the Resort is in full bloom just in time for Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival. Last year, the festival started the first week in March and is projected to begin around the same time in 2020. Keep an EAR out on the Disney Parks Blog, as it will be the first place to hint the sp-egg-tacular decorations are on the way!

Jennifer, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Have a MAGICAL vacation!
