    Hi, Anybody tried the picnic in the park in the Animal Kingdom yet? Thinking of giving it a go, just wondered if it was any good, Cheers

    Hi Julie,

    I just tried the Picnic in the Park at Animal Kingdom and would recommend it! You can choose either sandwiches or roasted chicken.

    My family ordered lunch for four. We each got a sandwich, dessert, small bottle of water and split two sides. There were lots of options to choose from except the only drink is water. We received plates, napkins, utensils and condiments in a reusable bag which was ours to keep.

    Everyone enjoyed their sandwich, and we had plenty of sides leftover. If you have smaller children, you might consider having them split the meal.

    You can order by 1:30 your lunch at Island Mercantile which is right over the bridge on your left. They need about 90 minutes to prep your lunch, and you can decide what time you would like to pick it up from the Tusker House.

    The only downside for us was that it rained and we had to eat under the patio next to Tusker House instead of one of the other locations.
