Hi! You answered a question I sent yesterday. Funny, I had planned on eating at Capt Cooks, so glad you confirmed!! Now we can go anywhere around the lake to watch the fireworks, so you think Poly Beach is best? Even better than Contemp or Floridian? Thanks

    Welcome back Shannon!

They say great minds think alike! Capt. Cooks is one of my favorite quick service restaurants. You will definitely enjoy it.

When it comes to viewing Wishes from outside the Magic Kingdom, in my mind there isn't a better place to watch than the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The view is straight on so the effects of the layered fireworks (those which are shot off just behind Cinderella Castle and those shot off behind Fantasyland outside of the park) is still in place. When watching from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resort the fireworks actually looks like it's separated.

Now don't get me wrong, there is always something *MAGICAL* about watching Wishes no matter where you are. The soundtrack alone makes my heart swell. However, I love seeing the fireworks with Cinderella Castle front and center.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about viewing Wishes or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
