Hi . I see you answered a question about early entry for a breakfast reservation. how does that work? you are allowed in the park, but have to stay in the resturant until Rope drop i assume? do you have to be staying at a WDW hotel to use this option?

    Hi Lisa!

I LOVE early entry for breakfast at the parks! I think it's one of those hidden gems that can really be a magical moment in your trip.

Early entry for breakfast is open to any guest - there is no requirement to be staying on-site at a Disney resort. In fact, we've stayed off site many, many times and taken advantage of a super early Crystal Palace reservation! Some of my favorite photos when my kids were toddlers are from these mornings!

It is really simple: Just pick the earliest reservation time possible! That's it!

You're not required to remain in the restaurant until Rope Drop, but you will find that you are confined to the general area around the restaurant. In the case of the Magic Kingdom, you won't be allowed past the hub of the Castle for example (but, really, who needs to go further to take the perfect deserted park picture!).

Hope this helps! Please let me know if I can help out more - I love to help plan vacations (it helps tide me over to MY next vacation)!!
