Mayela,
Thanks for writing me back. You are the best kind of pen pal!
Just so you know, yes, you can absolutely book a Walt Disney World package at one of their preferred partner hotels with a different number of theme park ticket days than the overall number of days that you will stay at the resort hotel. I just tried it out, and it worked exactly the same as in the example that I wrote for you in the
previous reply.
So now you get the fun task of figuring out where to stay! As you will see, there are resorts in the
Disney Springs area, the
Bonnet Creek area, and the Gateway area. You also have the
Four Seasons Resort, as well as the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.
So which resort hotel should you choose? A few things to think about include these two considerations;
Points: One deciding factor is using loyalty program points from a major hotel chain. For most you will see the brand name right away, like with the Hilton hotels or the Four Seasons. But a few, like the Swan and Dolphin, don't have their brand in the name, so do a bit of digging if you need to. By the way, the Swan and Dolphin are Westin and Sheraton properties, respectively.
Location: Where do you want to spend your time? I love the Swan and Dolphin for their easy access to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can walk or boat to either. But being close to
Disney Springs is great too, for the dining, the shopping, and the entertainment!
Feel free to
write me back if you have more questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
