    In an answer fr Erin F., she mentioned that taxis are not allowed at the park gates at MK. We were thinking of taking a taxi from AKL to MK for an early am ADR. Are taxis allowed to dropoff near the park gates? If not, how far is the walk? THANKS!!!!!!

    Only Disney transportation (WDW buses, boats, and the monorail) is allow to take guests directly to the gates of the Magic Kingdom. If you take a taxi to the Magic Kingdom, it will drop you at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The TTC is actually the name for the main Magic Kingdom parking lot. This is where every guest that drives to the Magic Kingdom will end up. You can't walk to the MK from the TTC (it's across the lake), but you can take either the monorail or a steam boat to the park. Either ride takes about 10 minutes. First thing in the morning, I would opt for the monorail which starts running early enough to get guests to early character meals at the Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary, and Polynesian.
