    Molly from VA Asked

Hi! I see an answer from a few years ago answering the same question I had! Since covid, I wanted to be sure the answer is still the same! We are going in Feb and really want to try toffee cake at Liverty tree tavern! Can we dessert only at lunch time?

Welcome to planDisney, Molly! I am so glad you found us to ask your question about Liberty Tree Tavern! Dining at the Walt Disney World resort is one of my favorite topics, and I feel that my trip isn’t complete without some delightful desserts.

At this time, lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern is only served in an All-You-Care-to-Enjoy format. You can browse the scrumptious menu for yourself right on the Disney World website or the MyDisneyExperience mobile app. (I did make sure your Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake was still available!) An a la carte menu was available in the past, so stopping by just for dessert was possible. Hopefully this returns in the future.

The All-You-Care-To-Enjoy offering at Liberty Tree Tavern is different from a buffet. The platters are brought directly to your table with enough food for however many individuals will be dining. The Cast Members are skilled when it comes to bringing enough food, but not too much! It is possible to request additional portions of items that you may need more of. I suggest that you arrive hungry, as the food is sure to be plentiful and delicious! Also, do not forget to leave room for that Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake that you mentioned!

Since so many things at Walt Disney World are changing at a rapid pace, I would recommend keeping yourself up to date on all things dining at the Dining: Know Before You Go page

Have a wonderful visit in February, one of my favorite months to visit Walt Disney World. Please come back to see us again with other questions you might have as you continue planning.

    Happy Traveling (and eating),
    Tracy

Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
