We are Annual Passholders and usually use my husband's finger scan with my daughter's Magicband, in order to streamline the park entry process. We are taking a girl's trip soon, and he won't be with us. Can I use mine for hers, instead?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning a mother-daughter Walt Disney World adventure. My solo trips with my daughters when they were young are some of our favorite memories.

You should be able to reset your princess's finger scan tied to her annual pass with relative ease. This situation happens all the time with little ones. Just let the cast member at the entrance point know that your daughter's scan is tied to your husband, who isn't present. Usually, that cast member will call over a Guest Relations cast member with a tablet who can do the new scan on the spot.

My husband needed to reset his finger scan recently because it had stopped working for some reason. It took only about a minute to take care of it.

Enjoy every memory-making moment, Kelly. If you haven't done so already, I'd suggest adding the Disney PhotoPass Download Option to your annual pass now (the cost will be prorated, based on the expiration date of your pass) so that you can capture this special time with your daughter.

And don't miss the V.I.Passholder Summer Days extras that continue through the end of July.

    Wishing you magic,

    Wilma
