We have been annual passholders since 2016. Now my husband got lay off and we have financial hardship. Renewed our son pass in October before this. Can his pass be canceled or put on hold? We cant afford the monthly paymentS? We cant renew our passes

    Hi Isaac,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's job loss. That's always a challenge and I can certainly understand why you are hoping to eliminate some monthly expenses.

I hate to be the bearer of some less-than-magical news, but Walt Disney World Resort tickets and Annual Passes are considered non-transferable and non-refundable. Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any way to cancel your son's Annual Pass, especially if it's already been used. I don't have access to your family's account information but I'd recommend contacting a Cast Member with V.I.PASSHOLDER Support by phone or email to discuss. I can't promise they'll be able to offer a solution, but inquiring is the best way to find out.

Isaac, I know this isn't the answer you hoped for today and I sincerely apologize. I will cross my fingers that a bit of pixie dust is showered over your family and your husband will quickly find a new job waiting just around the riverbend. You'll certainly need to celebrate that and I can't think of a better place to do so than at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

Wishing you magic and a brighter year ahead,
    Amy
