Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for your question about dining plans at Walt Disney World. The great thing about asking your question here is that, inevitably, at least one of us has had direct experience with what you are looking for, so we can provide you with our personal experience! Speaking of which, Jennifer, I was in this exact scenario last year. As an annual passholder, I wanted to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan but didn’t need to have theme park tickets. Luckily, a friendly Cast Member was able to assist me in adding a dining plan to my resort hotel reservation very quickly over the
phone.
So here is what you should know about the dining plans and being an annual passholder. Currently, there are no discounts on either of the dining plans for passholders. You will have to pay the same price (subject to change) as a non-passholder so for the:
-
Disney Dining Plan that is currently $97.79 per night for each adult and $30.56 per night for each child ages 3-9.
-
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan is currently $59.14 per night for each adult and $24.71 per night for each child ages 3-9.
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer. I love that even though we aren’t adding theme park tickets to our vacations, we can still take advantage of the dining plans. I also love that once you add on a dining plan, your stay becomes a vacation package, and you get access to all of the
Magical Extras. My little one loved getting the complimentary luggage tags, and we can’t wait to take her to miniature golf during our upcoming vacation! Please come back and see us if you need anything else (I'd love to chat about what my favorite uses of dining credits are if you are interested)!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
