Hiya, Cami! Welcome to planDisney.
Growing up in Florida, I loved going to Walt Disney World during Labor Day Weekend. The park crowds were lighter because the northern schools were heading back. We would have been in school for weeks, so it was a well-deserved treat!
For your upcoming trip, you can get a reservation at Walt Disney World Resort with a Disney dining plan. Since you do not need theme park tickets with your Annual Pass, you will need to
call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. They can book a ticketless package and add a dining plan. You'll just need to know if you want a
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the
Disney Dining Plan. Both plans include 2 meals and 1 snack per night of your stay and a resort-refillable mug. With the Quick-Service plan, you can enjoy meals on the go. With the Disney Dining Plan, one of your meal credits per night is good for table-service dining. I really liked the Quick-Service plan when I was a solo traveler for a runDisney weekend. With my family this fall, I will get the Disney Dining Plan because we have a long list of table-service restaurants for our trip.
With a dining plan, you'll have a friend in the
My Disney Experience app. The app makes it easy to track your credits. You can also use it for
mobile food ordering to see what menu items qualify for the dining plan and use your credits.
Although I said we have a long wish list for restaurants, my favorite aspect of the plan is the snacks! A few of my favorite spots for snack credits include
Karamell-Küche in EPCOT,
Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom Park,
Kat Saka's Kettle in Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Zuri's Sweets Shop in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Cami, I hope you get your vacation booked and enjoy all the benefits of a vacation with a Disney dining plan. If you have any other questions as you get ready for time at the Most Magical Place on Earth, please swing back by
planDisney.
Hakuna Matata!
