I am an annual passholder. Why don't I see Tiana's on my tip board?

Welcome to planDisney, Sonia! I'm a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, too, and I can't wait to go down the bayou. Since passholder preview days are ending soon, let's talk about how the process works so you can kiss a few frogs.

The key to special preview events for new attractions is to "Go with the flow!" For Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Annual Passholders have an opportunity to join a virtual queue on select days through June 20. You'll need a valid annual pass and a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park to join the 7 a.m. virtual queue. The 1 p.m. queue is available to passholders with a park reservation to any park for that day. No standby queue or Individual Lightning Lane entries are offered during this preview.

Since this preview is exclusive to Annual Passholders, the attraction has yet to be added to the Tip Board. I was fortunate enough to join the 1:00 PM queue at Magic Kingdom Park this week, so I headed to the Tip Board to see if the ride was paused. Like you, I didn't see Tiana's Bayou Adventure listed. But when I tapped "Virtual Queue" in the My Visit section of my mobile app, I could see my estimated return time. Unfortunately, the Shadow Man must have been at work because I was unable to experience the attraction, but I'll plunge down to the soiree next time!

Until this "down in New Orleans" attraction opens to the public on June 28, it probably won't be listed on the Tip Board. And during my visit, the return time fluctuated quite a bit. These previews aim to work out the bugs...especially the lightning bugs!

Here's the best part: the virtual queue will continue for all guests when the attraction officially opens on June 28, and shortly after, a standby queue will be offered. According to the Disney Parks Blog, Tiana's Bayou Adventure will also be included with the purchase of Disney Genie+ service. This means you'll have plenty of opportunities to see Louis and his new critter pals, even after the preview period ends.

Sonia, I'm wishing on Evangeline that you have a magical ride with Tiana! Be sure to sing along to your favorites from Princess and the Frog while you float along. Remember to pack a poncho if you want to stay dry! Laissez les bon temps rouler, and stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
