    Hello! Just got my annual pass with water park option and wanted to know if a cooler is allowed into Typhoon lagoon? It’s a backpack cooler for our water and soda and our toddlers toddlers milk, snacks juice etc.

    Hi Valerie!  Welcome to planDisney!

    How wonderful that your family will be able to enjoy lots of fun in the sun at Disney's water parks!  I am happy to let you know that small coolers are permitted.  I recommend reviewing the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules for the maximum allowable bag size and a list of prohibited items.  Bags, backpacks, and coolers can be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.  Important things to know are that glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.  Also, in order to streamline the security screening process, loose ice or dry ice in coolers is not allowed.  Reusable ice packs are recommended, or you could use small zip-top bags of ice.

    One of my family's Disney water park traditions is the Sand Pail -- a huge, sharable sundae served in what else, a plastic sand pail complete with a shovel for scooping.  You can find the Sand Pail sundae at Happy Landings Ice Cream at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
