Hi there, Kayla! Thanks for contacting planDisney with your excellent question. Inquiring minds want to know!
The Disney Premier Passport was introduced back in 2010, and it was indeed "Mickey's Golden Ticket." This extra-special Annual Pass gave Disney Parks fans unlimited access to the theme parks at
Disneyland Resort and
Walt Disney World Resort, perfect for the bi-coastal jetsetter! Unfortunately, it was discontinued in 2020, but there is hope! During Disney's Annual Shareholder Meeting earlier this week, the subject was brought up in a Q&A session. While they made no guarantees, it was mentioned that the company would look into possibly bringing back the Premier Pass in the future. Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog, which is the best source for breaking news!
Currently, Walt Disney World Resort has paused its
Annual Pass program (except for the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which is only available to Florida Residents), and we haven't received any updates as to when it will resume. Disneyland's new Magic Key program has four different levels. The top two levels are currently sold out, leaving only the
Enchant Key Pass (the Imagine Key can only be purchased by Southern California residents). I know this probably isn't the magical answer you were hoping to hear, but I'm keeping my toes and fingers crossed we'll hear good news soon!
Kayla, we would love to help you if you have any other trip planning questions. See ya real soon!
