Hi Richard!
Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I also have a
Walt Disney World Annual Pass and I love it so much! There are so many
benefits to being an annual pass holder, such as free parking and
discounts on dining and merchandise!
As a part of the adjustments to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members, Walt Disney World has implemented a
Theme Park Reservation system. With this new system, Guests must have a valid theme park admission (such as your Annual Pass) and a
theme park reservation to enter the park.
You can review the
Annual Pass Blockout Calendar to view the dates that reservations are available and blockout dates. All Guests, including Annual Passholders, must have a theme park reservation to get into the park. But the great news is that another one of the benefits of holding an annual pass is that bonus reservations are added to the calendar on certain dates. These bonus reservations allow Annual Passholders to make extra reservations at select theme parks.
Additionally, I've discovered that theme park availability can change, especially as the date nears. So don't give up hope if the park you want to visit does not show availability for the date you want to visit.
I see that you are visiting in April, so make sure to check out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! The outdoor kitchens are cooking up some amazing treats! My favorites are the Lavender Honey Mustard-marinated Chicken Flatbread, Arepas, and Seared Scallops. Also, don't miss admiring the beautiful
topiaries while exploring the park.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
