Hi Debbie!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
Yes! At this time,
Annual Passholders are required to
make a park reservation for the very first park they’ll be visiting each day of their Disney World vacation. Once you scan into the park in which you made your reservation, you’ll be able to hop to any other park at any time, pending park capacity.
But, there are some exceptions!
If you see that the day you’ll be visiting the parks is a
“good-to-go day” on the
park reservation availability calendar, that means you will not need a park reservation for any park that day. These good-to-go days pop up every so often and are indicated on the calendar with a circle around the date.
It’s also good to note that if you’re starting your park day after 2 PM, there are some instances in which you will not need a park reservation. If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom after 2 PM on a weekday or if you’re visiting Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or Epcot after 2 PM any day of the week, no park reservation is needed! However, if you’ll be starting your park day at Magic Kingdom on a Saturday or Sunday after 2 PM, you will still need a park reservation in that case.
I hope that all makes sense! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
