Hello there, Logan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for reaching out and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!
There are many wonderful benefits included with a
Walt Disney World Annual Pass! In addition to gaining access to four amazing parks, you will also be able to enjoy
benefits such as discounts on food and beverage, merchandise, special events, guided tours, and more. However, I think the benefit I’ve utilized the most since becoming an Annual Passholder myself is the discounts on Disney Resort hotel rooms! These discounts are often offered are various times throughout the year and can create quite a difference in how much you pay for your stay at
Walt Disney World Resort!
Technically, not every Guest included in a room reservation has to hold a current Annual Pass. Last year, my husband and I had the pleasure of bringing my mother-in-law with us to Walt Disney World Resort. During this stay, we booked a
Disney Resort hotel room with an Annual Passholder discount and had no problems including my mother-in-law in our reservation. Whenever we arrived, we did have to show our valid Annual Passes in order to check-in but it was perfectly fine that only two of us were current Annual Passholders!
So, it should be fine for you and your friend to share a room as long as your friend is a current Annual Passholder!
Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
