Hi Pamela!
Welcome to
planDisney!
Oh, how I wish that I lived in Florida in Walt Disney World's backyard! I would love to have the opportunity to visit the park frequently without traveling far! As a Florida Resident, you also get the amazing benefit of saving on
Florida Resident Disney Theme Park Tickets and Annual Passes! There are a ton of
pass holder perks, including discounts on merchandise, food, and resort hotel rooms! Currently, you can even save $10 on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
To use the Florida Resident ticket, all Guests over the age of 18 are required to show
valid proof of residency. There are a variety of documents that can serve as proof of residency (with a Florida address), including a valid Florida driver's license, a Florida state-issued ID, or a valid Florida military ID. There are also a few alternatives to proving Florida residency, which you can explore on the
Florida Resident Ticket FAQ. Unfortunately, this means that if the Guest is 18 or older and doesn't live in Florida, they will be unable to qualify for Florida Resident Tickets.
If the Guest is under the age of 18, you can purchase Florida Resident tickets for them as long as they are attending with you. You will need to show valid proof of residency to activate those tickets prior to the first day of use.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
