    I am an annual pass holder. Do I have to pay for my hotel before I can add a dining plan?

    Hi Deena and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question about adding a Disney Dining Plan to your next magical vacation. 

    Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder has its benefits! You can absolutely add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation. Just make sure to take advantage of the Disney Resort hotel discount for Passholders and use that selection when booking your stay. You will then see the option to add a plan to your reservation. 

    When it comes to paying for your plan, you follow the same steps as you would with any Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You don’t necessarily need to pay for your Disney Resort hotel before adding a dining plan. You will be asked for a deposit on a credit card when booking your stay. You will get a receipt from Disney showing the amount you paid for your deposit. Then you will be given different dates specifying what is owed on those dates. Your balance must be paid in full, 30 days before your vacation. 

    Deena, you may add a Disney Dining Plan to your hotel reservation up to one day before your arrival. Keep in mind, you will have to pay for the plan in full at the time you add it to your reservation. If you would like to speak to a Cast Member about adding a plan, call (407) 939-1947.
