Dorothy from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am an annual pass holder can I exchange my pixie pass for the 2026 military pass and just pay the price difference?

Welcome to planDisney, Dorothy! I'd be honored to help a military family today, so thank you for your service. We actually have a lot in common; I'm a Disney Pixie Dust Passholder, and my family is eligible for some of the current military offers at Walt Disney World Resort. Your question piqued my interest, so let's run it up the flagpole and see what we can discover.

I chatted with a patriotic Cast Member about upgrading your current Florida resident pass to the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. She said that your pass is ineligible for modification to a military ticket, since those are two separate categories of admission. I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, and I'm disappointed, too.

And since a spoonful of sugar is always welcome, I found out that the military pass is not technically a Disney Annual Pass. The military pass does not include free parking or other annual pass perks, such as discounts and exclusive merchandise. I think we have a pretty good deal, so I'm going to enjoy every second with my Pixie Dust Pass!

On another positive note, since you currently have an annual pass, you might be able to purchase the military pass for up to five family members. As long as you meet the requirements as a military member and can be present when the passes are activated, this might be a way to share some Disney magic! Feel free to contact Shades of Green if you have questions about military theme park tickets.

Dorothy, I hope the new year brings many exciting adventures! Maybe I'll see you around the parks. Please stop by planDisney any time.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
