Hiya, Meagan, and welcome to planDisney from a fellow
Annual Passholder! Isn't it a fabulous family to be a part of? The passholder magnets alone keep me returning for more, but the other
perks and discounts make it a value for my family. I recently renewed my Disney Pixie Dust Pass, so let's look at how the process will work on your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacations.
Since you're in your renewal window, you can add the
Memory Maker option online during the renewal process. Your current pass will still show in your account; please look for the October 7, 2024, expiration date when making theme park reservations. After you've purchased the new pass, it will also show in your account but shouldn't activate until October 8, 2024. That's also when Memory Maker will become available for the length of the new pass.
Just so you know, you can
upgrade your pass anytime outside your renewal window. For example, you could add Memory Maker or the
Water Park & Sports Option a few months into your use year. But remember that the price is always the same, regardless of when you upgrade. So, the best value is exactly the way you're planning to do it, Meagan.
I had Memory Maker last year and found it was worth every penny! When friends and family visited the parks with me, I could easily download and share photos with them. The PhotoPass photographers work their magic to make images sparkle like no others. Who else can capture the fireworks shooting over Cinderella Castle for your backdrop?
Meagan, I hope I've given you the information you need to renew your Annual Pass. Last year, the price increased just a few days after I paid for my renewal, so I will always renew as soon as my window opens. If you have more questions about passes, please call the
Annual Passholders line, and feel free to stop by
planDisney for all your vacation planning needs. Say, "Cheese!"
Magic awaits,
Elaine
