Hi! We have the annual IncrediPass and plan to start Thursday in AK (res made), then to park hop to MK later. Is this an issue with the new nighttime parade? Thank you!

    Hi Nicole!

    Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you’re set up perfectly with your park reservation made for your first park of the day. After you scan into Animal Kingdom that morning, you’ll be able to hop to Magic Kingdom whenever you’re ready, pending park capacity. I’d make sure to get over to Magic Kingdom early enough to ensure park entry and stake out your spot for the parade.

I’m also happy to report that we just found out that park reservations will return to normal for Annual Passholders! So, if you’ll be starting any of your park days after 2 PM, you will not need park reservations at all unless you’re visiting Magic Kingdom after 2 PM on Saturday or Sunday (you’ll still want to make a park reservation in that case!).

Good-to-go days may also start returning to the park reservation availability calendar. So, if you see a good-to-go day during your trip, you will not need a park reservation at all for that day either.

Of course, park hopping will stay the same throughout all the recent changes. And you’re right! You'll want to make your park reservation for your very first park of the day when you plan to hop.

I hope that helps! Enjoy the new Starlight parade, and have the best time! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’ll see you real soon!
