Hi Anne, We are traveling to disney in August. A friend traveling with us has four "no expiration" tickets from the early 90s. Is she able to convert those to a length of stay ticket? We are staying a week at OKW resort. Thanks much!

Hi, Jennifer!  This was a tough one, so I made a call to guest services to see what I could find out.  Walt Disney World is using a different ticket medium in most cases now, so I wanted to see what they were doing with the older tickets.

According to the cast member that I spoke with, your friend can take her tickets to guest services, any ticket window, or resort concierge desk.  They can convert her tickets to the new RFID ticket medium, which will allow her to utilize the new scanners at the theme parks.  This cast member indicated that they would be able to incorporate all four days onto her RFID pass, and if she needed to add more days, she could do that at the same time.

This is all brand new technology, and has just begun being used.  It's great that she'll be able to go with the flow when she arrives!

Have an awesome upcoming vacation, and thank you so much for your question!
