Hi Anna, My son will be spending a few days in the parks with his dad (I'm remarried) during our Mom and Son trip in April. Any suggetions for grown up alone time on the days he is with his dad (no car)? Does the spa at CSR have plus size robes? TY!

Hi, Lauri!  What a lucky girl to get some grown up time alone in Walt Disney World!  The sky is the limit in terms of what you can do - everything from the theme parks, taking full advantage of those single rider lines!! - to a day at the spa.

Let's start with the easy question.  La Vida Massage and Fitness Center does not provide robes to their guests.  Even though they do massages and other salon treatments, guests have to bring their own robe, or you could just drape the sheets.  If you choose to go to one of the other full service spas at Walt Disney World - like at the Grand Floridian or Saratoga Springs - you will find plus sized robes up to size 5X available for you to use.

I love having an opportunity for some alone time when I'm at Walt Disney World.  I can spend a day wandering around Downtown Disney, enjoying the shops.  I love browsing the Christmas decorations at Disney's Days of Christmas or enjoying the smells at Basin.  Head to the new Design-a-Tee shop and make your own souvenir!  Then I like to grab a bite to eat at Earl of Sandwich.  An outside table lets you people watch and enjoy the Florida weather.

You could book an appointment at the spa at the Grand Floridian for a massage or a facial, or both!  When you're done, maybe you could have afternoon tea at the Garden View Lounge at the Grand Floridian.

Another great way to spend a day is at the World Showcase in EPCOT.  My kids - especially the younger ones - don't appreciate all of the shops and the wonderful foods they offer.  It's a grown up playground to browse the items from all over the world and sample the world cuisines!

Have a wonderful time on your trip, enjoying the time with your son and the time you get to spend enjoying yourself!
