hi Anna! I need to make one ADR to complete my other ressies at WDW. In your opinion how is the food at Tony's Town Tavern? I do need to make the final one at the MK. Already have one at the CP on our trip. ty

Hi, Diane!  I have never had a bad meal at Tony's Town Square restaurant.  The first time we went, I had my stepmom with me, who is a fabulous Italian cook.  We couldn't get into Crystal Palace, so I took Tony's as a backup, and worried that my stepmom would hate it, but she raved about everything!

We have enjoyed the antipasto very much, and even though it says it serves two, we usually also order the calamari, so we all pick at the antipasto.  The Seafood Diavoli is one of my husband's favorite meals - just the right amount of spice, and delicious seafood.  The shrimp scampi is also very good, and a different version than the one you usually see at your local Italian restaurant.

The kids never leave without the ice cream bomb, but I am partial to the spumoni.  Both are nice, cool ways to round off dinner.

I have only one word of caution about eating at Tony's.  Almost every time we have eaten there, we have had to wait.  Even with advanced dining reservations, we've always encountered a wait for a table here.  I wouldn't really notice if the wait was ten minutes, but we have always waited at least 15 or 20 minutes for a table, and one time, my husband was ready to walk out after a wait of over 45 minutes.  Good thing he loves the pistachio creme brulee!
