hi Anna if money were no object in which resort would you stay ? and give me your fav dining locations. i almost always agree with you and your advice so your opinion is really important to me. you are so down to earth. ty sooo much diane

Hi, Diane!  Did my mom put you up to all these wonderful comments?  She can be very persuasive!  Thank you so much for your kind words!

If money were no object, I'd stay at the Polynesian, concierge level.  I absolutely love that resort!  I love the smell of the gardenias and the feeling that you are really transported to a tropical paradise.  I also really enjoy the restaurants there - Kona and 'Ohana; and I could watch the Spirit of Aloha show every night!  I really feel like the Polynesian is one of those resorts I could go to and never set foot in a theme park (of course, with my kids, that would never be an option!!).  The motto of the Polynesian resort is "Aita Peatea", which means there will be another day tomorrow, just like today - and when you are there, you hope EVERY tomorrow is just like today!

I have to warn you, my family are not plain old food eaters, so our favorite places may not be what you would expect.  My favorite restaurant anywhere is Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  My husband and I try to celebrate our anniversary there every year since we first went on our 15th anniversary.  I love the food, the atmosphere, and the cast members who work there.

We also love Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge; Restaurant Marrakesh at EPCOT; 'Ohana at the Polynesian; and Teppan Edo at EPCOT.  I am the world's worst cook, so I try not to take my kids out to eat where they might get something I would make at home.  I'd hate for them to find out what pot roast is REALLY supposed to taste like!  (although we do love 50s Prime Time Cafe!)

Thanks again, Diane, for the very sweet comments!
