Hi Anna! Love the board, so helpful. I just read a ? you answered about the Animal Kingdom, Picnic in the Park being a QSM. Can you tell me where I can find out more about this? Do we bring our own food? Thanks!

Hi, Tricia!  I am super excited about the Animal Kingdom Picnic in the Park, because it's something my girls are absolutely going to love!  The park itself just lends itself to picnics, and I'm so glad they are putting this package together!

You can find more about the picnic by doing a search for picnic in the park at www.allears.net - they list there all of the options, including the pricing and side dishes.  You do not bring your own food, but purchase a package that provides a meal that includes either sandwiches or rotisserie chicken or ham; bottled water; fruit or dessert; a gourmet side dish; all contained in a reusable picnic bag!

You place your order for your picnic lunch at the Picnic in the Park podium when you enter the theme park, and then at your chosen time, you pick up your goodies at Kusafiri Coffee Shop.  If you enter the theme park after one o'clock and wish to order the picnic, you order it at Tusker House.

The picnic has to be ordered at least two hours ahead of time.  Payment is due when you pick up your lunch, and if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, the meal costs one adult credit per person (if you order the meal for three, it costs three adult credits).

I hope you get to enjoy this lovely picnic lunch soon!  Thanks so much for your question!
