Hi Anna. Coming April 2014. Worried Glow With the Show ears will no longer be available. Can you tell me if they will be available at the online store that sells park merchandise? Will my ears still work in April? THANKS!

Hi, Laurie!  I have to thank Disney Dad Derek for doing the leg work on this one for me - he totally rocks for helping me with the information you need!

Originally, the Glow With the Show ears were going to be part of the Limited Time Magic offerings at Disneyland, but due to their popularity, they've become part of the merchandise generally available to guests.  As they roll on out at Walt Disney World, my best guess would be that they could become just as popular there as they have become at Disneyland.

There isn't a time frame for how long they will be available, but you can call Merchandise Guest Services at: (877) 560-6477 to order them over the phone in advance of your trip.  As I said, I don't know if the cutting edge technology used to power the effects in the lights will still be active by your April trip, but if Disneyland is any indication, hopefully, they'll still be in full swing when you travel in April!

Check back closer to your trip, and I'll be able to tell you for certain if the theme parks are still using them.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that they are!
