Welcome to planDisney, Davona!
How wonderful that your Disney Cruise is so close! The Disney Magic is my favorite ship partly because the rotational dining rooms are so unique. I stopped by and spoke to a shoreside agent. They mentioned that although they can't promise anything, it's likely you'll get to enjoy Animation Magic on your second night at
Animator's Palate. If you're curious, you could ask your servers about it on the first night.
Once you board the ship, you can easily access your dining rotation, table number, and restaurant menus through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. And when it comes to dressing up, Disney's
dress code is more of a suggestion, giving you the freedom to choose what you're most comfortable in. While Guests are encouraged to join in the fun and dress like pirates on
Pirate Night (Friday), there's no pressure at all. You won't be walking the plank if you prefer to dine in your regular clothes. The same relaxed approach applies to the optional dress-up night on Saturday. It's all about enjoying yourself and embracing the magic in your own way.
If you’re seeking a relaxing lunch with personalized service on embarkation day, I recommend heading to one of the open dining rooms instead of eating at
Cabanas. The last time I was on the Disney Magic, lunch was served at
Rapunzel’s Royal Table. You can take some time to admire Rapunzel’s drawings and hunt for her sidekick, Pascal. Try the Welcome Aboard Sundae for dessert. It's a delicious treat to start your cruise on a sweet note.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a first-time cruiser, our planDisney crew is here to make your voyage as magical as can be.
SEAS the adventure!
