Hi Ashley! It's great to see another Ashley come visit us here at planDisney!
Your upcoming vacation to
The Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it! I love that you're securing your
Advance Dining Reservations and working through your daily itineraries now, as it just makes for a much less stressful trip once you arrive. Plus, we here at planDisney know that planning is half the fun!
Spending the day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom followed by dinner at one of my very favorites,
Cape May Café, sounds like a perfect Disney day to me! I would suggest heading straight to
Kilimanjaro Safaris in the morning, as the animals love to be out and about when the weather is still nice and cool. You also don't want to miss
Festival of the Lion King, a show that will make you feel like you've traveled all the way to Broadway! Just talking about some of my favorite attractions makes me wish I was there right now.
At the end of the Theme Park part of your day, you still have so much fun ahead of you. Using Disney Transportation to get from Animal Kingdom to
Disney's Beach Club Resort for dinner will be as easy as hopping on a Disney Bus! After exiting the Park, simply head to the Bus station that serves all Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Find the Disney's Beach Club Resort bus stop and hop on for an air-conditioned ride straight to your dinner buffet. As a native New Englander, I love all the seafood dishes and the Snow Crab Legs!
When traveling around the Resort I always plan for at least an hour to get from one point to another, and maybe even a little longer if I'm leaving at a busy time of day or heading to a dining reservation. According to the interactive map in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, your journey will take approximately 50 minutes.
After dinner, take your family for a stroll around
Disney's BoardWalk. You never know what kind of pop-up entertainment you might find, and the EPCOT Resort area around Crescent Lake is just gorgeous at night.
Enjoy your wonderful Disney day!
