Hi TeAnn!
Thanks for “strolling” by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a fun visit coming up with a little one, so let’s get their transportation settled!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is my favorite Theme Park! Ever since my babies were little, our favorite “walk” is along
Gorilla Falls Forest Exploration Trail. Under the lush green canopy, you can “venture into the heart of Africa” and visit exotic animals, all while staying nice and cool. My six-year-old daughter told me the other day that the trails were the best attraction in all the Parks!
Walt Disney World Resort has an excellent stroller system. Conveniently located near each attraction will be a dedicated area for stroller parking along with a Cast Member. That Cast Member will either direct you to a “parking spot” or park the stroller for you. Sometimes while you are enjoying your attraction, the strollers have a bit of a dance party themselves and move around, but when you return they will be in the designated section where you left them.
If you don’t plan on bringing your stroller,
rental locations are right inside the Main Gates of the four Theme Parks, and at Sundries at Disney Springs (right next to the Coca-Cola store). Single and Double Strollers are available to rent. If you are planning on being in the Parks for more than a day, I would suggest doing a Length of Stay Rental. You can pre-pay for the number of days that you need the stroller and pay less than you would if you rented each day.
TeAnn, I hope this helps you plan your roaring adventure, if you have any additional question, please swing back by!
TTFN!
Rayna
