Can Animal Kingdom be seen in one day since it has an early closing time?

    Heather,

I think you can experience a lot of Animal Kingdom in one day, but it really depends on what your party is interested in seeing.

We usually spend one full day at Animal Kingdom but we elect to do this on the day with evening Extra Magic Hours (EMH) for resort guests, giving us three extra hours to play.  On that day we are able to enjoy:

    Dinoland USA
Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, Triceratop Spin, The Boneyard Playground, Finding Nemo the Musical

    Asia
    Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest

    Africa
    Kilimanjaro Safaris

    Camp Minnie Mickey
    Festival of the Lion King

    Discovery Island
It's Tough to be a Bug

And my very favorite Disney parade, the Jammin' Jungle parade.

This is far from everything the park has to offer, but it is our abbreviated one-day plan.  if you can spare more time to devote to this park I really recommend it.  There are wonderful nature and animal trails to explore, a hands-on area for kids including a petting zoo, and other shows like Flights of Wonder (featuring some amazing and beautiful birds) and Pocahontas and her Forest Friends.
