Will Animal Kingdom be offering thie Picnic in the Park lunches again this summer? We will be traveling Aug 19 - Aug 24. Thanks!

Hi, Tami!  The Animal Kingdom Picnic in the Park is now primarily a grab and go option.  You can assemble the picnic yourself at the Beastly Bazaar, with freshly made sandwich choices and a selection of side dishes that includes fresh fruit salad, chips, cole slaw, and some other delicious sides.

Along with your bottled water and dessert, you have a wonderful picnic, which you can choose to enjoy anywhere inside Disney's Animal Kingdom, or you can take it to go wherever you'd like.  It's a nice way to bring a reasonably priced lunch back to your hotel room if you want to take a break from the heat of the day.

While the picnic no longer offers the hot entrees you may remember from last year, there are sandwiches for meat eaters, vegetarians, and even a tuna salad for someone who doesn't like either.

    Have a wonderful upcoming vacation!
