We will be at the Animal kingdom on Monday May 24th,but have dinner reservations at Ohana's at 7:30 P.M.-how should we get there and how long will it take? thank you

    Hi Janice,

Greetings from a fellow Midwesterner. We just had dinner at "Ohana's a few weeks ago. My boys loved it so much, they begged to return the next night.

Traveling from Animal Kingdom to the Polynesian Resort (location of "Ohana) will be fairly easy. Simply exit the park and head over to the Disney bus stops located to your right as you leave Animal Kingdom. The stop numbers change often so check the board for the stop number for the Polynesian Resort. Take this bus to the Polynesian. Once at the hotel, you will have a short walk from the bus stop to the main entrance of the resort. The restaurant is on the second floor.

Disney buses run on average every twenty minutes and the ride is approximately twenty to thirty minutes. I always like to add some extra travel time "just in case" an unexpected delay occurs plus it is suggested you should arrive 15 minutes ealry to check in for your reservation. I would personally allow 90 minutes to get there, and if you are leaving near park closing time, don't forget the buses tend to be more crowded and it may take a little longer.

    Enjoy!
