Welcome to planDisney, Crystal!
How wonderful that your
great big, beautiful, tomorrow holds a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm absolutely delighted that you stopped by with a question about my very favorite theme park, Disney's Animal Kingdom. Home to a
thrilling coaster, immersive exotic lands, and delicious eats, there's nothing quite like it. I also love that the wildlife ensures that no two visits will be exactly the same!
Although Disney's Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other theme parks (the lion has to sleep tonight, after all), it's also the first to open, so you can still enjoy a full day of magic. I spoke with a Cast Member about the schedule for
Tree of Life Awakenings, and she shared that the display can only happen when the sun sets before the theme park closes for the day. Since the park is open until 7 PM tomorrow and the sun is scheduled to set at 6:30, you just might get to see a bit of magic! I did notice that there are
no showtimes listed on the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app, so I encourage you to check directly with a Cast Member in person tomorrow. Even when the Tree of Life doesn't come alive, I've always loved Disney's Animal Kingdom after dark. I typically enjoy dinner just before the theme park closes so that I can make my way out through
Pandora - The World of Avatar in all of its bioluminescent glory.
One more tip before you
go well and go wild: Be sure to head over to
Maharajah Jungle Trek in Asia during your visit.
Bakso, the Sumatran tiger cub made his debut in January, and his adorable antics have become a must-see for many Guests!
While I wish that I could have shared a more definitive answer, Crystal, I hope the information I provided is helpful! As always, don't hesitate to come see us again at
