Jambo, Barbara! Welcome back to planDisney.
As the old saying goes, COFFEE is the most important meal of the day, right?? In a standard room at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'll find a Keurig coffeemaker and a supply of Joffrey's Coffee K-cups, as well as creamer and sweeteners.
Housekeeping will replenish coffee supplies, but if you find yourself running low between visits, just press the Housekeeping button on your in-room phone to request more.
To travel from Jambo House to
Kidani Village, you can hop on any bus -- but be sure to ask the driver first. Usually, but not always, buses stop at Jambo House first and then Kidani Village before heading to the parks or
Disney Springs. There is also an internal shuttle that runs between the two buildings. Another option would be to walk along the path beginning at the porte-cochere. It is about a 10-minute walk between Jambo House and Kidani Village, and there is signage pointing the way.
The Mara's hours can fluctuate seasonally, but during your visit, it is scheduled to be open between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm. Be sure to take advantage of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering during your stay. You can place your order from the comfort of your room or while you are traveling back after a day in the parks, and when you arrive simply press "I'm here, prepare my order." Don't forget to pick up some of Animal Kingdom Lodge's famous Zebra Domes. I also found a nice collection of South African wines in the Grab & Go beverage coolers at
The Mara.
I hope that helps! Please stop by and see us again if you have any additional questions. Enjoy your stay!
