Animal Kingdom or Disney Hollywood Studios for a 5yr old girl??

    Damaris,

That is a tough call. For my two girls (5 and 7), it is easily the Animal Kingdom. They love the ambiance, the live shows (Lion King and Nemo shows) the play areas in Dinoland USA, and the animal viewing.

But Hollywood Studios has a ton of great shows too (Beauty and the Beast, Ariel, Muppets, and Disney Junior shows), and a few more dining options.

But my girls have been to both parks many times, and I think that with many shows after you see it once, the repeat value is not as big of a deal.

BOTTOM LINE: If your daughter really is into the zoo experience, or does not really have a particular fascination with a particular character, then go to the Animal Kingdom. However, if she is into stage shows and fireworks, then go with Hollywood Studios. If you are still not sure and this is her first time, then I think there will just be more to do at Hollywood Studios, and that should be your choice.

But if you write me back with more about her interests, I can make a more informed recommendation!

    Have a magical vacation!
