Greetings Diane!
Welcome to
planDisney, your one-stop shop for all things Disney vacation planning. I’m so glad you decided to stop by with your question about navigating the Walt Disney World theme parks sans phones. While the
My Disney Experience mobile app is an incredible tool that can help you make, modify, and view your vacation plans with ease, you can certainly still enjoy a magical visit without it.
The first thing you will need, Diane, is a Key to the World Card. This will function as your theme park ticket, allowing you to tap into the theme parks. You can obtain a Key to the World Card at the Front Desk of your
Disney Resort hotel (if you are staying on property), and it will also work as your resort room key. If you are staying off property, you can pick up a Key to the World Card from Guest Relations at the front of any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. You must have
valid theme park entry connected to your Key to the World Card to enter the parks. This can be purchased before your visit on the
Walt Disney World website or at the Ticket Office in front of any of the theme parks.
Unfortunately, the My Disney Experience mobile app is the only way to book/view/modify
Lightning Lane passes. But do not fret! You do not need Lightning Lane passes to enjoy the attractions at Walt Disney World theme parks. Once you have entered the parks, you can join any attraction’s standby queue and await your turn.
I hope you have an unforgettable time visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth, Diane! We are here for you and happy to help, so stop by planDisney anytime you need answers to your Disney vacation questions.
See Ya Real Soon!
