We’ll be in Anaheim during Seasons of the Force and we were thinking about doing Disneyland After Dark:Star Wars Nite. When do tickets go on sale? What sort of things can we do? And will it still be fun if only one of us is a HUGE Star Wars fan? Thanks!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Lindsay!

We're so glad you've brought us another great question and I'm happy to assist. But first, I have a confession to make. My husband and son would likely disown me if they knew I typed these words for all to read, but I have not completed the entire Star Wars movie collection. I know the general storyline and I've seen a few chapters of the saga along the way (and you better believe I "oohed" and "ahhed" over Grogu in The Mandalorian on Disney+) but I am certainly not a Star Wars expert by any means.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I have another confession. I thoroughly enjoyed a 7-night Star Wars Day at Sea sailing on Disney Cruise Line back in 2017 and I love strolling through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge every time I visit. I may have asked my husband for a play-by-play on the finer details the first time we experienced Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, but even as a very casual fan, I was completely captivated and totally impressed!

I say gather your crew and make every effort to attend Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite if you can get tickets during your travel dates. There's nothing more magical than getting a few extra hours of magic at Disneyland Park and I just know the entertainment at this specially ticketed event is sure to be out-of-this-world. Your HUGE fan will be thrilled but the rest of the group will find plenty to enjoy, I'm sure.

I don't know when ticket sales will be released but since April and May are right around the corner, I'd expect to see more details soon. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for the latest information and get ready to experience all the intergalactic excitement that's set to unfold. Details on specific event offerings are still awaiting transmission, but you can likely expect unique character greetings, fun photo ops, themed entertainment and decor,  and some fun food offerings throughout the event. I've seen photos of some pretty epic Lightsaber meetups as well from past dates.

I hope this was helpful, Lindsay. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions. We're always the droids, I mean the panelists, you're looking for.

May the Force be with you,
    Amy
