Ana: ayear ago I had a lap band surgery so I am not good a buffets anymore. I'm planning a Character Bfkst - Mickeys . Is there a possibility I get the price of a childs menu ? I do not eat that much anymore. What would you recommend ?

Hello, Lourdes!  I hope you are doing well following your lap band surgery!  I know some people who have had great success with the band, and hope you are enjoying a similar result!

Whether or not they are able to offer you a child's price is up to the discretion of the restaurant manager.  In my experiences, they often wanted to see a card from your surgeon stating that you have had surgery restricting your ability to eat an adult portion.  Before you go, ask your surgeon for one of his cards, and if he doesn't keep them in his office (some surgeons don't), ask for a note written on his prescription pad that you can carry with you in your wallet.

I have not had an experience where I used my card and have had to pay for an adult buffet.  The manager at the Garden Grill even charged me only a $10 "entertainment" fee when I went only 10 days after my gastric bypass surgery and couldn't eat anything (I was still on liquids).  I have had only good experiences at Walt Disney World in dining since my surgery.

Have a wonderful trip, and enjoy Chef Mickey's!  Thank you so very much for your question!
