Amy, We are staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness in September and have reservations for dinner at Trail's End Restaurant, which is at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness. Can we walk from the Cabins to the Campsites? Thanks, 60 days til WDW!

    Hi Edward,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I absolutely LOVE the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (truth be told, that's as close as I will ever come to camping). Trail's End Restaurant is also one of my favorites-your family has made some fantastic choices for your upcoming vacation!

Regarding whether or not you can walk from your Cabin to the restaurant, it really depends on where your cabin is located. Did you know that the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is spread out over 750 acres of Walt Disney World property? That could be a really long walk! Fear not, dear Edward, as the bus service in the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is fantastic and you and your family can hop on a bus and head toward Pioneer Hall for dinner and have a walk that is more than reasonable from your Cabin.

Have a wonderful time and enjoy some of that delicious fried chicken for me!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
