Howdy Christina!
Thanks so much for bringing me your question. I'm excited to hear you'll get to enjoy
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue during your visit next month. I have yet to experience this dinner show, but I've heard rave reviews about the food, the comedy, and the high-energy musical numbers. I already know you're in for a real treat just from looking at the
menu. That strawberry shortcake is seriously calling my name!
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is hosted at Pioneer Hall at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. If you'll be spending time at Magic Kingdom Park before your dinner reservation, you can board a
complimentary water taxi to sail across Bay Lake and dock at The Settlement which will put you just a short walk from dinner. Water taxies typically arrive every 20 min, so be sure to allow plenty of travel time as you make your way to dinner. If sailing doesn't suit you, you can also use complimentary bus transportation from Magic Kingdom Park to Settlement Depot.
You'll want to arrive prior to the scheduled reservation time to check in and be ready when doors open promptly at 6:15 p.m. The musical antics will begin 20 min after seating with the full experience lasting 2 hours. Once you've feasted and belly-laughed your way through the performances you'll be ready to make a quick exit before the 8:30 p.m. dinner guests have their turn.
Now let's get to those post-dinner plans!
Happily Ever After which returns on April 3rd, is my absolute favorite nighttime show and, in my opinion, the very best way to end a magical vacation. It's currently scheduled for 9 p.m. during the month of April so you will need to move quickly to make your way back to Main Street, U.S.A. before the show begins. I have an idea that will hopefully get you there to sing along right on time. Ready to begin? Feel your heart beat faster! Let's help you reach out and find your own happily ever after.
While you can certainly use the water taxi or bus to return to Magic Kingdom Park, I would recommend
Minnie Van service as time is of the essence in this particular instance. Although this comes with an added charge, you'll be able to travel in polka-dot style and get dropped off right near the bus loop at Magic Kingdom Park. I would urge you to consider a Minnie Van over other ride-share options as those can only drop you off at the Transportation & Ticket Center, which would still require a Monorail or Ferryboat ride to the front gates.
Did you know, that you can check travel times between locations anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort within the My Disney Experience App? Use the search icon at the bottom of your screen to find a starting location and then click "Get Directions" to view the available transportation options, timing, and even walking directions when applicable. I took a quick look and it does seem that a Minnie Van ride would be your fastest transportation option in this case.
I'm crossing my fingers that you will make it back in time for this spectacular show! You may not have your choice of viewing locations with a close arrival, but if you can get close to the Partners Statue you'll have a better view of the gorgeous castle projections. Take it all in and enjoy!
Wishing you magic and memories,
Amy
